We hire exceptional individuals seeking meaningful opportunities in a purpose-driven environment.</p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Night Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe, residential recovery environment and providing support services to clients and supporting program staff.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES SUD Specialist AOD (3rd Shift) Overnight &nbsp;- 11:30PM - 7:30AM Night Shift&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodation may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintain security procedures for the facility.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Oversee residents&rsquo; rooms; conduct room searches and ensure room standards are kept.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Provide crisis intervention and stabilization to assist clients in symptom management.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Complete accurate and timely documentation as contractually required and meet minimum requirements for client services.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Shift coverage including part of the on-call team.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maintain confidentiality of client&rsquo;s care.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Participate in scheduled program meetings.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assist with assessment, intake, transition, discharge of clients entering/exiting the withdrawal management and residential program.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Conduct withdrawal management observations, monitor client progress, and maintain strong communication with the clinical team.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Administer baseline and random drug testing in accordance with program policies.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Monitor clients&rsquo; self-administered medications, conduct medication check-in, and compliance data entry.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assist with conducting evidenced based clinical and patient education groups.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Other relevant duties as assigned. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;High School diploma required.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Registered or certified from recognized AOD certifying (CCAPP, CADTP, CAADE) board is required.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Valid CA driver&rsquo;s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Cultural competency understanding required.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;CPR/First Aid certification (required within 30 days of hire), and bi-annual thereafter.</p><p>&bull; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Bilingual preferred.</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p>These physical demands represent what must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
