How We Work At Chick-fil-A About Chick-fil-A Supply A wholly owned subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, Inc., Chick-fil-A Supply™ is a distribution service provider focused entirely on serving the unique needs of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Due to steady, year-over-year sales and volume growth, combined with the complexity in our Restaurants, Chick-fil-A Supply supports current and future Restaurant needs through distribution innovation that extends the Chick-fil-A culture of care to those it serves, as well as those it employs. This subsidiary is in the early stages of development and is a dynamic, fast-paced work environment focused on launching this new service to Restaurants across the nation. Overview About Chick-fil-A Supply and this Role Directs the overall talent activities for the Midwest Region, including employee relations, recruiting, organizational planning, legal compliance, safety, training, and communication. This role will provide strategic Talent leadership to the Midwest region. While regional alignment supports strong relationships and consistency, Regional Talent Leaders may be reassigned to different regions over time based on business needs, leadership development, and organizational priorities. In all cases, the role partners closely with regional and distribution center leadership to engage team members, support leaders, and strengthen Chick‑fil‑A Supply’s culture. This position is responsible for traveling to each Distribution Center in the region they support every 6–8 weeks, managing Human Resource functions within a multi‑state environment, and supporting distribution centers across the network. The Regional Talent Leader provides Talent support to employees within their assigned region and serves as a key member of the regional leadership team.  There are times where coverage to other regions may be required or regional support may adjust to the support the development of the leader. Responsibilities Responsible for working with regional and distribution center leaders, foster positive employee relations and communications within their region Manages the overall talent practices and activities including recruiting, staffing, legal compliance, compensation, benefits and safety within the region Supports the region by providing strategic talent direction Implements and deploys talent programs (i.e. Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Planning, etc.) Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external business partners resulting in strategic partnerships for the achievement of business goals and objectives Advises regional and distribution leadership teams about talent programs and challenges Champions both team members and Chick-fil-A Supply Partners with local Talent and Talent Relations to ensure legal compliance for talent issues Fosters Chick-fil-A culture that emphasizes our core values, corporate purpose, care, safety and excellence Maintains knowledge of federal and state legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting talent functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance Recommends changes, new approaches, policies and procedures to effect improvements in efficiency of the talent function Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. Approximately 8 years of progressively responsible work experience related to human resources, with 5 years in a talent generalist role, preferably with a food or consumer goods distribution or manufacturing organization with multi-unit leadership. Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered for the above. Ability to manage both tactical and strategic talent functions. Experience leading change management. Ability to admit mistakes quickly, show humility, and respect diverse viewpoints. Ability to proactively identify and integrate initiatives into existing or new regional processes. Strong skills in prioritizing and communicating initiatives that impact cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal skills. Proven success operating autonomously while driving toward strategic talent and business goals.
