Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team.</p>\n<p><span>This posting is for an existing vacancy.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Your commitment to serving the needs of our clients and employees will encourage client and employee loyalty and enhance our organization’s success.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR</span><span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifies and clarifies resident's needs , answers questions, gives directions and instructions</li>\n<li>Provide exceptional Customer Service to Clients, Customers, Contractors and Visitors to client’s property.</li>\n<li>Access control, CCTV surveillance, contractor escorts &amp; report writing</li>\n<li>Visitor management, parcel &amp; key management</li>\n<li>Night shift book-keeping (releasing given out packages from system)</li>\n<li>Booking guest suites and other site amenities<br></li>\n<li>Perform routine property patrols of all levels of building, parking areas and perimeter and respond to and Emergencies and Fire Alarms.</li>\n<li>Property inspections, including pool chemical balance testing, property rules &amp; regulations enforcement</li>\n<li>Assist in case of emergency, first aid or any other intervention</li>\n<li>Interact with visitors, customers and the general public</li>\n<li>Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people</li>\n<li>Collect information on complaints or events</li>\n<li>Maintain a positive, productive work environment through teamwork</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by the Client, or the Regional Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><br></span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US</span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ontario Secondary School Diploma</li>\n<li><span>*<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MUST</span>* </span>Ontario Security Guard License</li>\n<li><span>*<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MUST</span>* </span>Valid First Aid and CPR certificate</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time</span></li>\n<li>Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs. <br></li>\n<li>Ability to complete frequent patrols</li>\n<li>Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently)</li>\n<li>Excellent customer service and reception skills</li>\n<li>The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential</li>\n<li>Should be available to cover extra shifts when needed</li>\n<li>Condo control experience will be consider as an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WE OFFER YOU</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical and Dental</li>\n<li>Employee assistance program</li>\n<li>Family Assistance program</li>\n<li>Coaching and counselling support</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU</span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Position Type: Full time</span></li>\n<li>Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00</li>\n<li>Location: 55 Front Street East, Toronto</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(33, 37, 41)\">Schedule -<span> 2300-0700 Sunday- Thursday (must be able to backfill other shifts when required)</span></span></li>\n<li>On-site parking available; accessible by TTC</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR COMMSSIONAIRES:</span></p>\n<p>As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We would like to thank all those who apply, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is fully committed to abiding by all equal opportunity employment standards.
