As a Kitchen Mechanic, you will be responsible repairing commercial appliances such as ovens, fryers, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, mixers, and ice machines</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diagnosing electrical, gas, plumbing, and mechanical problems in kitchen equipment</li>\n <li>Performing preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns</li>\n <li>Replacing worn or defective parts</li>\n <li>Inspecting equipment for safety and code compliance</li>\n <li>Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams</li>\n <li>Testing equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation</li>\n <li>Maintaining service records and repair logs</li>\n <li>Responding to emergency repair calls quickly</li>\n <li>Installing new kitchen equipment and appliances</li>\n <li>Working with maintenance teams, chefs, and facility managers</li>\n <li>Following workplace safety procedures and handling tools properly</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Skills commonly required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities</li>\n <li>Familiarity with refrigeration and HVAC systems</li>\n <li>Ability to use hand and power tools</li>\n <li>Physical stamina for lifting and standing</li>\n <li>Time-management and communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>• Experience of 2-5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment. • HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills. • Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper. • Certification in pool operation preferred. • Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s license preferred. • Preventive maintenance background preferred. • Read, write and understand English. \n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>Davidson Hospitality Group is an award-winning, full-service hospitality management company overseeing hotels, restaurants, dining and entertainment venues across the US.
