Serving as a key liaison and representative of COE, you will collaborate with cancer center faculty, research teams, community organizations, and policymakers to facilitate bidirectional communication and advance community-engaged research. The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills to manage complex projects, meet tight deadlines, and drive strategic initiatives. A self-starter and change agent, you will bring innovation, collaboration, and relationship-building expertise to enhance program impact and advance equitable cancer outcomes. As a successful candidate, you will: · Lead and coordinate COE initiatives supporting CCSG requirements, including grant preparation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership and stakeholders. · Build and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, facilitating bidirectional communication to align research, outreach, and cancer disparity priorities. · Analyze and track community health data, program outcomes, and cancer disparities to inform strategy, measure impact, and support continuous improvement. · Design and implement evidence-based interventions (EBIs) and support community-engaged research, including recruitment, data collection, and program dissemination. · Manage and activate the Community Advisory Board (CAB), driving member engagement, onboarding, and integration of community insights into program and research priorities. · Develop reports, grant content, presentations, and communications to share program impact with leadership, stakeholders, and the community. · Represent COE at events, coalitions, and meetings while advancing innovative strategies to enhance community outreach and program effectiveness. · Support capacity-building efforts for community partners through training, technical assistance, and resource development to strengthen long-term impact.
