With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.</p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do Day-To-Day</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performing new or revising existing postulated accident analyses using a Framatome's version of RELAP5. </li>\n <li>Evaluating and documenting the impact of plant and core design changes on existing Safety Analyses. </li>\n <li>Contributing to methods development activities in support of new fuel products, customer requirements, or changes in the licensing regulations. </li>\n <li>Contributing to the development of automation and software tools to improve operating efficiency.</li>\n <li>Working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful customer delivery in Reload Licensing </li>\n <li>Analyses, implementation of Advanced Fuel Management products, and Enhanced Accident Tolerant Fuel products for Framatome's customers. </li>\n <li>Perform a variety of more complex engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.   </li>\n <li>Perform independent review of department work products, risk assessments, Apparent Cause Analyses, Root Cause Analyses, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis etc.  </li>\n <li>Propose solutions and work scope to supervisor, works autonomously on most assignments and solutions.   </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards.   </li>\n <li>Independently evaluate, select and apply a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making more complex adaptations and modifications for tasks not previously performed.   </li>\n <li>Develop new or adapted products, methods, systems or models to provide added value solutions to customers.   </li>\n <li>Understand impact of work on other organizations internally and externally.  </li>\n <li>Work on special projects, as directed.   </li>\n <li>Provide suggestions for improving processes and implementing process improvements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Skills</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with light water reactors and are experienced with the plant system thermal-hydraulic and core response during transients</li>\n <li>Experience using RELAP or similar code to simulate reactor system behavior during postulated accidents</li>\n <li>Display positive and effective team interaction skills and value positive peer relationships</li>\n <li>Customer focus and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills with a passion for problem solving</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 7 years of related experience.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.  </li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. </li>\n <li>Grows developed network and maintains good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. </li>\n <li>Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.  </li>\n <li>Displays leadership characteristics.   </li>\n <li>Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.  </li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Total Rewards Package</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Salary:</strong> $115,000 - $156,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
