    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Facilities Specialist - Furniture Move Team</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>This position is 5 days a week in the office &amp; will be based at the Facilities Warehouse @ <u>755 Jefferson Street, Atlanta GA</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><i><strong>Please Note: You may be required to work outside normal business hours &amp;/or weekends, based on demand, <u>with little to no advanced notice</u>.&nbsp;</strong></i></li>\n <li><i><strong>(** This is a Non-Exempt position &amp; you will be paid Overtime for any hours worked over 40 per week.)&nbsp;</strong></i></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Please read the Fleet driving verbiage at the bottom of this job description carefully prior to applying.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The Facilities specialist position is responsible for supporting Facilities warehouse operations, transporting and installing materials/furniture, and providing efficient response to employee and leader facilities-related requests. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Work years of experience:</strong> 1-5 years of warehouse experience, light carpentry, installation of office &amp; systems furniture preferred&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent preferred</p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Special Certification:</strong> forklift operation-certified preferred, product-specific installation certifications a plus</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong> Light carpentry/mechanical experience, ability to drive box truck or light delivery vehicles, experience working in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment, needs to be organized and customer-focused &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understand and follow all safety protocols for working in warehouse and other Southern Company locations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Inventory management:&nbsp; \n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintain efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Monitors inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Pick up, deliver and install materials/furniture for remodeling and miscellaneous jobs at various Southern Company locations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform quality reviews of work performed by team and contractors prior to project completion</li>\n <li>Ensure efficient transportation of material/furniture to minimize travel time</li>\n <li>Perform assembly/disassembly and minor repairs of system furniture.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Training of supplemental staff when required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support facility management with employee moves; other duties and overtime as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>This position has been identified as a role that will require the use of a Georgia Power fleet vehicle (or driving a personal vehicle on behalf of GA Power.)&nbsp; The following will be required if you are selected for this position:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Must have at least one year of verifiable driving experience (Must hold a valid driver’s license for the class vehicle to be operated.
