Prepares complete documentation related to projects.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Design, implementation, and installation of dies for rubber flow consistency, reliability, and productivity</p>\n<p>· Verifies compliance of flow to design specifications and tolerances</p>\n<p>· Discusses and solves complex problems with other technical departments</p>\n<p>· Manages tool and die projects using sound principles and techniques</p>\n<p>· Develops, tests and evaluates theoretical designs</p>\n<p>· Monitors and commissions rubber transport equipment and assists with troubleshooting and repairs</p>\n<p>· Provides maintenance department appropriate documentation and training on systems</p>\n<p>· Prepares documentation, reports, and updates engineering specifications related to studies and projects</p>\n<p>· Provides technical support to technical, maintenance, and production operations</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to travel for training assignments to domestic and foreign facilities.</p>\n<p>Otherwise – limited domestic travel for educational, technical, or business related opportunities.</p>\n<h2>Knowledge and Skills</h2>\n<p>· Good knowledge of structural mechanics and dynamics</p>\n<p>· Analytical thought process</p>\n<p>· Effective written/oral communication</p>\n<p>· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</p>\n<p>· Proficient in milling and welding</p>\n<p>· Knowledge of CAD, CNC, machining, welding, and other precision tooling processes</p>\n<p>· Has worked successfully in both team and individual environments – good listener – continuous learner</p>\n<h2>Education and Experience</h2>\n<p>· High School Diploma</p>\n<p>· AA DEGREE – Preferred or commensurate experience in Tool Design</p>\n<h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n<p>Able to spend time walking the production areas, talking with operators and maintenance associates, can</p>\n<p>climb 3 floors of stairs. Use of welders, mills, lathes, hand tools, and meters for performing evaluations</p>",
