This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality images, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering excellent patient-centered care.   \n<strong>**Offerring a $5,000 sign on bonus***</strong>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h3>Patient Care & Preparation</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet and identify patients using proper protocols; verify physician orders.</li>\n <li>Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.</li>\n <li>Obtain relevant patient history and assess contraindications to radiopharmaceuticals.</li>\n <li>Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while prioritizing comfort and safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Imaging & Procedures</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety standards.</li>\n <li>Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment (gamma cameras, SPECT, and/or PET systems).</li>\n <li>Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures such as bone scans, cardiac scans, thyroid imaging, and PET/CT studies.</li>\n <li>Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions if necessary.</li>\n <li>Ensure image quality and completeness for accurate interpretation by physicians.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Radiation Safety & Compliance</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow established radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.</li>\n <li>Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials.</li>\n <li>Monitor radiation exposure levels and maintain appropriate records.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations (e.g., NRC, state health departments).</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Equipment & Quality Control</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control checks on imaging equipment.</li>\n <li>Identify equipment issues and coordinate service or repairs as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Documentation & Collaboration</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Accurately document procedures, patient data, and radiopharmaceutical dosages in EMR systems.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.</li>\n <li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required competencies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Reports:</strong></p>\n<p>Nuclear Med Supervisor</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<p>None</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p></p>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2>\n<h3><strong>Education</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field (required).</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Licensure & Certification</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Current certification by <strong>ARRT (N)</strong> and/or <strong>NMTCB</strong> (required).</li>\n <li>State licensure as required.</li>\n <li>Current <strong>BLS/CPR certification</strong> (required).</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred (outpatient experience a plus).</li>\n <li>Experience with PET/CT and/or cardiac imaging preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>If you are interested in becoming a part of TMH’s legacy of quality & compassionate healthcare, we want to know you.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Please submit your application & resume TODAY!
