This combination of leading-edge medicine and deep compassion for the people we serve has been a hallmark of PMC since 1952. &nbsp; &nbsp; PMC consists of over 130 providers, approximately 750 employees, and 16 locations.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What will you do as a PMC Nurse (LPN/RN)</strong></p><p>As a PMC nurse (LPN), you will provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a professional medical doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, and provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. &nbsp;The functions of the LPN are to collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes, implement the interventions identified in the plan of care, and evaluate the patient&rsquo;s progress toward attainment of the outcomes, working collaboratively with the healthcare team. &nbsp;Performs professional nursing work of considerable difficulty including the care of patients as outlined by physicians and the objectives and policies of the organization. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><em>A day in the life of a PMC Nurse (LPN) will include:</em></strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Works within scope of license, develop and implement nursing plan of care for patients. &nbsp;Communicate the plan of care to patients as prescribed by physician: &nbsp;test results, scheduling of specialized tests and treatment modalities, prescription drug instructions and other patient education including procedures and/or disease processes.</li></ul><ul><li>Obtains, reviews, verifies and/or complete health care forms related to home health care, referrals, medical equipment and other patient/physician needs as appropriate. .</li><li>Help maintain patient flow and workflow. &nbsp;Work collaboratively as a team member of the clinic staff to provide a high quality and efficient service to patients and clinic.&nbsp;</li><li>Recognizes patient rights and provides for confidentiality of patient information and for dignity through own performance and in relationship with others.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborates with other disciplines; promotes and supports research activities; and utilizes available resources to provide and improve patient care.&nbsp;</li><li>Participates in medical staff meetings as required.</li><li>Participates in quality improvement team efforts, including meetings to discuss quality assurance improvement initiatives.</li><li>Observes patients and reports changes in patients&#39; conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and takes any necessary action.</li><li>Measures and records patients&#39; vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.</li><li>Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. &nbsp;Identifies and/or communicates any safety issues for the clinical equipment, building, follows-up to ensure completion.</li><li>Assists physicians with examination and procedures as necessary.</li><li>Maintains patient areas and working spaces in a clean, neat and orderly manner. &nbsp;Monitors use of supplies/medications;
