    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p>\n<p>The<strong>&nbsp;HVAC Journeyperson</strong>&nbsp;holds a valid Certificate of Qualification issued by the province in which the work is performed. The incumbent is responsible for operating facility systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, routine services on facility mechanical and other systems for the assigned facility within the limits of company policy and trade certification. Ensures that deficiencies are identified, recorded and escalated, and that related documentations are maintained.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate inventory of all assigned tools/equipment and arranges for repair and replacement where required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Client Relations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides observations about facility, facility mechanical conditions and deficiencies and provides recommendations for enhancement and repair.</li>\n <li>Participates in and assists with facility-related projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Administration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participates in and assists with facility-related projects.</li>\n <li>Ensures the manner in which work is performed is in compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices and guidelines related to environmental, health and safety, fire protection and any other applicable requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintains all assigned tools and arranges for repair and replacement where required</li>\n <li>Submits all expenditures on a timely basis.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE &amp; SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>College Diploma/Certification required</li>\n <li>Previous experience as a licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician</li>\n <li>Strong ability to adhere and to properly execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain building mechanical and other system troubleshooting and resolution skills</li>\n <li>Possesses a strong environmental, health and safety mindset. Ability to perform work in a safe manner</li>\n <li>Strong client-service orientation along with a high sense of urgency</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills for the purpose of data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification</li>\n <li>Must be available for on-call/standby and emergency call-outs as they arise</li>\n <li>Must be willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment</li>\n <li>Must meet enhanced security clearance requirements</li>\n <li>Valid drivers’ license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must hold a valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification issued by the province in which the work is performed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Gasfitter I &amp; II license in addition to refrigeration license, an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $54,185 - $67,732 per annum.
