    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Robotic Welding Manager, the Robotic Welder is primarily responsible for operating one or more weld machines to fabricate metal parts or assemblies to specifications applying to basic knowledge of welding theory on production basis.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lifts work piece manually or using hoist and secures work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.</li>\n <li>Calculates and sets controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod.  </li>\n <li>Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications. </li>\n <li>Unload welded frames from robotic welder and place on appropriate containers.</li>\n <li>Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. </li>\n <li>Remove rough spots from workpieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. </li>\n <li>Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment. </li>\n <li>Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. </li>\n <li>Performs all functions involved in operation of robotic welder, including: programming, touch point, and operations corrections.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate counts of parts; attaches labels or tags to finished part containers identifying customer, part number, quantity and shop order information.</li>\n <li>Performs basic MIG and TIG welding techniques as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintains company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.</li>\n <li>Reads job specifications (e.g. blueprints, quality control plans and/or traveler notes) to determine type of welding and material requirements.</li>\n <li>Examines finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications according to operator inspection sheet, quality control plans and/or customer notes using instruments such as gauges.</li>\n <li>Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.</li>\n <li>May perform other related duties or work at different workstations as production needs require.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Successful completion of an internal welding test.</li>\n <li>Previous knowledge of fixtures and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, welding symbols, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats</li>\n <li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.</li>\n <li>Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.</li>\n <li>Work in an efficient and timely manner</li>\n <li>Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently</li>\n <li>Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Expectations</h2>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Activity:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Activity</strong></p>\n<p><strong>N/A</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Occasionally</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Frequently</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Regularly</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Average lbs.</strong></p>\n<p>Lift/Carry</p>    \n<p>50</p>\n<p>Push/Pull</p>    \n<p>50</p>\n<p>Reach Overhead</p>    \n<p><strong>Comments:  </strong>Moderate to heavy physical effort required to perform the basis essentials of the job.
