Our world-class training will prepare you for the job!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What is a Direct Support Professional?</strong></p>\n<p>A Direct Support Professional performs a variety of tasks related to the care of clients served by Damar. </p>\n<p><strong>What would I be doing?</strong></p>\n<p>Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential.</p>\n<p><strong>Where would I work with clients?</strong></p>\n<p>For this particular role, you could work on our Children's Residential campus located at 6067 Decatur Boulevard in Indianapolis or in one of our Adult Group Homes in the community. </p>\n<p><strong>What are the hours</strong><strong>?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1st shift  (7:00 am - 3:30 pm / weekend rotation every 3rd week)</li>\n <li>2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm / weekend rotation every 3rd week)</li>\n <li>3rd shift (11:00 pm -7:30 am / weekend rotation: 2 on & 1 off)</li>\n <li>Weekend (7:00 am - 11:00 pm / Sat & Sun) *Can pick up an optional 8 hour shift Monday-Friday</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>(* Preferred shift may not be available at time of application.)</em></p>\n<p><strong>Here are just a few of the benefits you'll enjoy at Damar:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Starting pay: $15.25 an hour!
