Description

Position Overview Inabia is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join the rehabilitation team in Kilgore. This role focuses on helping patients recover mobility, strength, and independence after injury, surgery, or illness in a supportive rehabilitation environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving patient outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients’ mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional limitations. Develop individualized treatment plans designed to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, mobility retraining, and neuromuscular re-education . Assist patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, neurological conditions, stroke, and general deconditioning . Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programs based on patient response and rehabilitation goals. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and safe mobility techniques . Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Support discharge planning by recommending assistive devices, home modifications, or continued therapy services when appropriate. Requirements Active Texas Physical Therapist License Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred Schedule  8-hour day shifts
