This role focuses on helping patients recover mobility, strength, and independence after injury, surgery, or illness in a supportive rehabilitation environment.</p><p>The ideal candidate is passionate about improving patient outcomes and enjoys working collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Perform comprehensive <strong>physical therapy evaluations</strong> to assess patients&#8217; mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional limitations.</li><li>Develop individualized <strong>treatment plans</strong> designed to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function.</li><li>Provide hands-on therapy including <strong>therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, mobility retraining, and neuromuscular re-education</strong>.</li><li>Assist patients recovering from <strong>orthopedic injuries, surgery, neurological conditions, stroke, and general deconditioning</strong>.</li><li>Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programs based on patient response and rehabilitation goals.</li><li>Educate patients and families on <strong>home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and safe mobility techniques</strong>.</li><li>Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.</li><li>Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.</li><li>Support discharge planning by recommending <strong>assistive devices, home modifications, or continued therapy services</strong> when appropriate.</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Active <strong>Texas Physical Therapist License</strong></li><li>Graduate of an accredited <strong>Physical Therapy program</strong></li><li>Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills</li><li>Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred</li></ul><h2>Schedule&#160;</h2><ul><li>8-hour day shifts</li></ul>",
