&nbsp;Materials</p><p><strong>Reports to</strong>:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Inventory Control Coordinator&nbsp;</p><p><strong><br>&nbsp;JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p><strong>Summary/Objective <br>&nbsp;</strong>The Material Handler will ensure the Production Department is supplied with the required materials to manufacture products.</p><p>They will also contribute to a work environment where fairness, equality and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions<br>&nbsp;</strong>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Must have and maintain a valid forklift license and promote safe driving practices.</li><li>Performs physical tasks to transport or store materials within the production area.</li><li>Performs a daily visual inspection of the general condition of the forklift, and fills out a daily forklift inspection sheet.</li><li>Be proactive to keep downtime relating to &ldquo;waiting for a forklift&rdquo; to zero minutes.</li><li>Anticipate production needs and have replacement items available so that no downtime is incurred.</li><li>Responsible to ensure FIFO (First-In-First-Out) is used in all areas of the plant.</li><li>Demonstrate ability to work independently, problem solving, and troubleshooting within the department.</li><li>Responsible to ensure that his/her work area is clean and safe for himself/herself and others.</li><li>Responsible to make recommendations to continuously improve YAPP USA Automotive Systems, Inc. capabilities.</li><li>All accidents (person, product, or property related) must be reported to your direct supervisor immediately. &nbsp;NO EXCEPTIONS.</li><li>Must follow all safety practices, including wearing the proper PPE.</li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><strong>Competencies</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Problem Solving/Analytical</li><li>Attendance/Punctuality</li><li>Dependability</li><li>Communication Proficiency, written and oral</li><li>Objectivity</li></ol><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility<br>&nbsp;</strong>There are no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment<br>&nbsp;</strong>This job operates in a manufacturing environment.</p><p>&nbsp;While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. &nbsp;The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands<br>&nbsp;</strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. &nbsp;Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. &nbsp; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to grasp small items, handle, or feel. &nbsp;The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.</p><p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work<br>&nbsp;</strong>The Material Handler positions are staffed on all shifts with days and hours to be determined by shift. &nbsp;Working overtime or/on weekends may be required as necessary.</p><p><strong>Travel<br>&nbsp;</strong>Travel is not expected.</p><p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li>Minimum of High School Diploma or GED</li><li>Must be able to obtain a Forklift license</li></ol><p><strong>Preferred Education and Experience</strong></p><ol><li>1 &ndash;
