At least 1 year of experience in scoring sleep studies.</li><li><b>License/Certification:</b>&#160;Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required; BLS certification required.</li><li><b>Other Requirements:</b></li></ul><ul><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen.</li><li>Ability to recognize and provide age-specific care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.</li><li>Familiarity with conditions such as PAP adherence, insomnia, restless leg syndrome (RLS), narcolepsy, anxiety/depression, and inadequate sleep time</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Documents Required for Submission:</b></p><ul><li>Updated Resume (With all gaps explained)</li><li>Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.&#160;</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Prepare, calibrate, and operate sleep study equipment and monitoring systems.</li><li>Conduct overnight and daytime sleep studies, monitoring patients&#8217; physiological data throughout the process.</li><li>Score sleep studies and prepare accurate, detailed reports for physician interpretation.</li><li>Educate patients and families on sleep disorders, CPAP/PAP equipment use, mask fittings, and adherence.</li><li>Document patient data, observations, and study outcomes in electronic health record (EHR) systems.</li><li>Recognize and respond to emergency situations during studies, ensuring patient safety.</li><li>Assist physicians and sleep medicine specialists in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.</li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.</li><li>Provide patient-centered care with sensitivity to cultural, psychological, and physical needs.</li><li>Support ongoing quality improvement and compliance with DoD, DHA, and AASM (American Academy of Sleep Medicine) standards.</li></ul>",
