Our vision is to help our students succeed in a global community.&#160; We love bringing our young learners from around the world together through a common language and building global connections.<br>__________________________________________________________________________________<br><br><b>Summary:</b><br>Teachers&#160;facilitate the development of the Life Skills and Academic Skills of the students by engaging the students in conversation and providing feedback that helps them develop their communicative skills.<br><br><b>Job Purpose:&#160;</b><br>The TEFL/ESL Instructor is responsible for ensuring that students benefit from the academic program by providing the student with the necessary skills to become proficient in English through grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening.<b>&#160;<br><br>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Plan and deliver ESL lessons to teens and children as young as 11 years old appropriate to a summer school environment from Beginner to Advanced levels (age range between 12-18).</li><li>Ensure and maintain proper levels of student discipline, welfare and safety of all students; adhere to and maintain student safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.</li><li>Assist the Center Academic Director in the testing and placement of new students in classes.</li><li>Ensure daily attendance reports, progress reports and end-of-course reports are submitted to the Center Academic Director promptly.&#160;</li><li>Attend and actively participate in all relevant staff meetings.&#160;</li><li>Ensure that classes start and finish on time and that all teaching sessions are adequately prepared.&#160;</li><li>Complete end-of-course reports and certificates for all students.&#160;</li><li>Submit detailed lesson plans to the Academic Manager at least one (1) week before a new arrival week starts.&#160;</li></ul><b>Qualifications &amp; Training:&#160;</b><ul><li>Instructional staff must have at least: (1) a bachelor&#8217;s degree with a minimum of three months of full-time equivalent ESL or foreign language classroom teaching experience or (2) a bachelor&#8217;s degree along with a certificate in teaching ESL or a foreign language that includes a practice teaching component.&#160;</li><li>Native fluency in English.</li><li>Effective communication (both written and verbal) skills.&#160;</li><li>Ability to demonstrate diplomacy, patience and flexibility.&#160;</li><li>Experience with continuous enrollment courses and weekly intakes (Desirable).&#160;</li></ul><p><b>Organizational Compliance:</b>&#160;The employee will be expected to operate in accordance with the company&#8217;s Code of Conduct, and any local policies and operating procedures relating to academic, welfare and safeguarding matters.<br><br><b>Personal Attributes:&#160;</b></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Interested in developing teaching skills.</li><li>Ability to motivate, engage and inspire students.</li><li>Demonstrates the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.</li><li>Responds well to a challenge.</li></ul><b>Working Week:</b><ul><li>5 days&#160;(Monday &#8211;
