The Equipment Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily activity of the repair shop and ensuring the facility is maintained in a safe manner.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Things You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee all maintenance employees, equipment, plant maintenance, and condition of facility. </li>\n <li>Oversee the completion of maintenance projects. </li>\n <li>Monitor employee training and certification. </li>\n <li>Set and oversee the achievement of performance standards. </li>\n <li>Responsible for weekly reports. </li>\n <li>Perform duties of a lead mechanic. </li>\n <li>Assist with shop recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action. </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. </li>\n <li>Other duties or projects, administrative or otherwise, as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two-year diesel mechanic certificate preferred. </li>\n <li>Seven to ten years experience at journeyman level strongly preferred. </li>\n <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. </li>\n <li>CDL a plus, but not required </li>\n <li>Maintain department of transportation (DOT) medical card. </li>\n <li>Ability to operate a forklift. </li>\n <li>Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills </li>\n <li>Knowledge of equipment, vehicle, and plant maintenance </li>\n <li>Maintain insurable driving record. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>At Suncore, we value people.
