This position performs a combination of tasks that support daily production goals and objectives. &nbsp;Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing life cycles, with the ability to work cross-functionally across diverse roles and a proactive approach with a willingness to coach and lead production work cells.&nbsp;</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual looking to build a career with a fast-growing company. We offer a small family-minded work environment where your expertise is appreciated, and your presence is valued. &nbsp; The <strong><em>Production Operations Specialist</em></strong> is a full-time, hourly position with full benefits.</p><p><strong>Other key areas of responsibilities include but not limited to: &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to successfully learn and perform a wide range of production tasks, with an awareness to resolve issues and make educated decisions to ensure safe and efficient operations</li><li>Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the production life cycle including pre- and post-production responsibilities, activities, and standards. Track results using various software programs</li><li>Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all tasks are conducted through to completion with a high level of attention to detail, quality, and product specifications throughout the production process. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area while working under minimal supervision</li><li>Provide guidance to production floor personnel</li></ul><p>AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the <strong><em>Production Operations Specialist&nbsp;</em></strong>position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two - five years&rsquo; work experience in a quality, manufacturing, and/or similar role. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Other helpful skills and qualifications include:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to safely operate a powered industrial forklift to support production as necessary and pass all Company forklift training per OSHA mandate.</li><li>Must be able to follow and clearly provide instructions for operating equipment and keeping the required records.</li><li>Proficient computer skills required to enter data, print/track orders and perform numerous tasks related to production, continuous improvement and shipping.</li><li>Familiarity and knowledge of ISO9001 standards, Lean manufacturing, and Kanban initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook. &nbsp;</li><li>Able to work overtime as required to meet business needs.</li><li>Speak, read, and write English to read and interpret sops, manuals, and/or instructions.</li><li>Wear appropriate PPE as required by Company and OSHA standards.</li><li>Demonstrate a positive work ethic and a sense of urgency in completing work assignments; maintaining a proactive &ldquo;can do&rdquo; approach to all responsibilities.</li><li>Able to stand, sit, move, bend, twist for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Execute assignments in an ethical, accurate, timely, and safe manner with the ability to perform tasks through to completion.</li></ul><p>AquaPhoenix Scientific is an industry leader in water testing kits, industrial equipment, and reagent manufacturing used in the commercial water treatment industry.
