In this role, you’ll provide basic therapeutic, restorative, and preventive care to residents while supporting their independence and overall well-being. You’ll collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and caregivers to implement individualized care plans and ensure the highest quality of care. The LVN also provides direction and supervision to care staff in accordance with community policies and state regulations. Being patient, level headed and cool under pressure.</li>\n  <li>Provides&nbsp;initial&nbsp;emergency&nbsp;medical&nbsp;response&nbsp;to&nbsp;residents&nbsp;needing&nbsp;assistance.</li>\n  <li>Initiates and coordinates requests for emergency medical care, including contacting physicians, ordering emergency (911) or non-emergency ambulance transfers, and initial assessments of resident medical needs.</li>\n  <li>Administers&nbsp;medications&nbsp;to&nbsp;residents&nbsp;as&nbsp;ordered.</li>\n  <li>Administers&nbsp;treatments,&nbsp;including&nbsp;dressing&nbsp;changes,&nbsp;as&nbsp;ordered.</li>\n  <li>Provides&nbsp;direct&nbsp;nursing&nbsp;care&nbsp;to&nbsp;residents&nbsp;within&nbsp;the&nbsp;guidelines&nbsp;of&nbsp;RCFE&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;and&nbsp;facility&nbsp;policy. Documents nursing care in support of planned outcomes.</li>\n  <li>Consults&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of&nbsp;AL/SCR&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;desired&nbsp;patient&nbsp;outcomes&nbsp;and&nbsp;progress&nbsp;or&nbsp;lack&nbsp;of progress toward the outcomes.</li>\n  <li>Identifies changes in resident status that interfere with the ability to meet basic needs. Identifies&nbsp;problems&nbsp;and&nbsp;reports&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of&nbsp;AL/SCR&nbsp;for&nbsp;modification&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;plan&nbsp;of&nbsp;care.</li>\n  <li>Observes&nbsp;and&nbsp;assesses&nbsp;effects&nbsp;of&nbsp;medications,&nbsp;reports&nbsp;findings&nbsp;to&nbsp;Director of&nbsp;AL/SCR&nbsp;and&nbsp;documents appropriately.</li>\n  <li>Attends AL Department meetings as scheduled. Responsible&nbsp;for&nbsp;completion&nbsp;and&nbsp;e-mailing&nbsp;of&nbsp;shift&nbsp;report.</li>\n  <li>Completes&nbsp;all&nbsp;online&nbsp;training&nbsp;scheduled&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of&nbsp;Staff&nbsp;Development and&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of&nbsp;AL/SCR. Assists&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;effective&nbsp;operation&nbsp;of&nbsp;Casa&nbsp;de&nbsp;las&nbsp;Campanas&nbsp;and&nbsp;participates&nbsp;in&nbsp;relevant&nbsp;facility&nbsp;activities.
