The Tool Finisher position is an entry level position into a clean, modern CNC machine shop with advancement opportunities for career orientated individuals interested in CNC manufacturing. Below is a summary of the job responsibilities and requirements. Pactiv offers <em>great pay and benefits.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SHIFT:</strong></p>\n<p>10pm-6:30am Monday - Friday</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Pay Range:</em></strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>21.75 - 24/hr </em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment.  </li>\n <li>Accurately use shop work order tracking system to log time to projects.</li>\n <li>Set up and operate micro drill presses to drill small ventilation holes in cavity components.  </li>\n <li>Polish machine marks from flat and contoured surfaces of tooling components using scrapers, abrasive stones, files, emery cloths, or die grinders.  </li>\n <li>Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers as necessary for task set up and component verification.</li>\n <li>Inspect finished parts for surface finish, contour conformity, and defects. </li>\n <li>Assist in assembly and/or packaging for shipment of machined tooling components. </li>\n <li>Work with minimal supervision in the assigned work cell and communicate with the team to escalate problems if needed according to the existing procedures.  </li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Must have High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to follow detailed directions accurately.  </li>\n <li>Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.</li>\n <li>Advanced math skills (Algebra, Geometry) are required to perform necessary job functions.  </li>\n <li>Must have the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, sketches and verbal instructions as necessary for completion of assigned tasks.  </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.  </li>\n <li>Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well in group situations; ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner.  </li>\n <li>Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as business needs dictate.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDIIB</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
