Assist Project/Client Managers by providing engineering resources – a design team - to help meet the client’s desires and budget. Provide the leadership resources and guidance to accomplish our objectives. To learn more, visit www.dewberry.com.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervisory responsibilities of a MEPS Infrastructure Department Manager include:\n  <ul>\n   <li>The MEPS Infrastructure Group consists of the following 4 disciplines, Power System Studies, Electrical Distribution and Medium Voltage System Design, Water & Waste-Water Electrical System Design, and SCADA System design. Each of these disciplines will have a Market Sector Expert (MSE) or Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will report directly to the MEPS Infrastructure Manager. The MEPS Infrastructure Manager will have all responsibilities of developing & managing this group to meet the stated goals of the company for the group.</li>\n   <li>Growing, mentoring, and developing the staff within discipline area to allow each person to achieve their maximum potential.</li>\n   <li>Minimum annual evaluations for each direct reports.</li>\n   <li>Providing technical guidance/leadership/management for all MEPS Infrastructure staff.</li>\n   <li>Organizing staff in a way to allow career advancement, professional development, quality client service, and operational efficiencies to meet business and project financial goals.</li>\n   <li>Taking a very active role in recruitment of staff in discipline area including networking, recruitment, interviewing and “deal closing”.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity (example through Comity) within the State in which the position is posted within six (6) months.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Accomplished (10+ years’ experience) Electrical Engineer.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience in power system studies, electrical medium voltage distribution system design, water & waste-water electrical system design, AND/OR SCADA system design preferred.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience in the design of various  Electrical systems, and an understanding of document preparation utilizing a BIM/Revit platform.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Knowledgeable of construction process, self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience in staff management/department management.</strong> </li>\n <li>Technical and Quality oversight of all project work.</li>\n <li>Establishing/improving standards.</li>\n <li>Adherence to project schedule.</li>\n <li>Adherence to project budget. Review and provide updates on project budgets at milestone dates. Reviewing budgets weekly.</li>\n <li>Attention to project scope during the design process to identify potential additional services.</li>\n <li>Identify staff performing design of the project, along with a senior staff member if required.</li>\n <li>Engineer of Record.</li>\n <li>Provide general updates of projects (status in the process, tasks to complete, percentage complete currently, etc.)</li>\n <li>Identify milestone dates when each discipline should provide information, at each phase, to allow sufficient time to good design coordination.</li>\n <li>Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions, technical and cost estimates.</li>\n <li>Customer, sales & performance focused.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li>\n <li>High aptitude for abstract reasoning, assertiveness and thoroughness.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and equipment, including switchgear, panelboards, MCC’s, circuit breakers and fuses.</li>\n <li>Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.</li>\n <li>Coordination with all of the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.</li>\n <li>Work schedule for discipline showing:<li>Project assignments and priorities</li><li>Delivery due dates for group project commitment’s</li><li>Workload/Capacity</li></li>\n <li>Manage projects to meet stated financial metrics.</li>\n <li>Department Managers are responsible for the performance of the Department they manage including sales, product quality, financial performance, recruiting, and customer satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Familiar with SKM Powertools/ETAP a plus.  </li>\n <li>Well organized, takes good notes. Good conceptual understanding of electrical systems with general knowledge of system operation, space requirements, cost.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Do not meet every single requirement?
