          "text": "<p>STARTING PAY: $19/hour</p><p><strong>General Summary Of Duties:</strong></p><p>Patrol, walk or stand in assigned area observing all activity, responding to calls as directed by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.&#xa0; Perform proactive and enforcement functions in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats to life and/or property to maintain a safe and secure environment.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)</strong></p><ul><li>Patrol</li><li>Ability at assigned station/area, stand and/or move on a continuous basis for up to 3 hours, to observe and identify potential security/safety risks, suspicious persons/activity, or undesirable conditions or hazards.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to respond to emergency situations (i.e., CPR, first aid, other medical emergencies, fire), undesired conduct and violations of property, policy and/or civil law as warranted for the safety/security of guests, employees and property. Ability to provide instructions and/or guidance for guest/employee safety.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy property activity, serving as a role model for other employees.&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to investigate safety/security matters on behalf of guests and employees.&#xa0; Document accurate and pertinent information for incident reports and logs.</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate via two-way radios and telephones to the dispatcher for directions/instructions and assistance, as well as supervisors and fellow officers.</li><li>Service:</li><li>Ability to provide \"guest\" satisfaction through assistance, direction and information within property/department guidelines.</li><li>Periodic Job Functions:</li><li>Attend and participate in shift meetings to receive instructions and information regarding internal property concerns.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Performance Requirements: (</strong><strong>Knowledge, skills and abilities)</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions, to provide clear direction/guidance, and to communicate with others.</li><li>Ability to stand, move, and work throughout property, including walking (up to 5-7 miles), climbing stairs (10% of shift - tower positions to 35% of shift), and/or standing/sitting at work stations for the duration of the shift.&#xa0;</li><li>Social skills as demonstrated by the ability to listen and respond to employee or management inquiries/concerns using a positive,&#xa0;clear speaking voice, answering questions, and/or offering assistance, giving accurate information regarding plans, policies, or procedures within guidelines.</li><li>Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 40 lbs. on an intermittent basis, with repeated lifting, carrying and push/pull of 20 lbs..&#xa0;&#xa0; And sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use handcuffs, emergency equipment, two-way radio, multi-line telephone and keys.</li><li>Knowledge of safety/security practices and procedures including:&#xa0; C.P.R., emergency first aid, semi-automatic defibrillator and basic emergency fire equipment.</li><li>Basic mathematical skills necessary to verify/balance reports and perform simple calculations.</li><li>Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.</li><li>Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.&#xa0;Typical Working Condition:</li><li>Ability to perform duties within hot to normal to cold temperature ranges and unfavorable conditions which can occasionally be noisy and wet.</li></ul>",
