    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Our Behavior Technician Interns provide individualized services in a 1:1 teaching format to children with autism in our clinics as well as provide additional administrative support to the clinic. MAC will provide all of the necessary training you will need to be successful in this internship.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Work 1:1 with children with autism by applying and implementing behavior analytical techniques that increase communication, self-help, and social and play skills under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst</li><li>Utilize positive reinforcement and antecedent modification to increase appropriate behaviors over time</li><li>Use the appropriate/prescribed ratio of reinforcement for each client</li><li>Assist in the development and maintenance of instructional materials and lead group activities&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate records of client performance/progress via data collection and/or clinical notes through an online and paper data collection system</li><li>Manage any inappropriate behaviors that occur</li><li>Keep clients motivated to learn through preference assessments</li><li>Communicate confidentially and professionally with behavior analysts, teachers, parents, and principals</li><li>Respond appropriately to feedback and/or correction</li><li>Report concerns directly and promptly to your supervising BCBA</li><li>Toilet training and diaper changing may be required</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education, Experience and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred</li><li>18 years of age or older&nbsp;</li><li>First Aid/CPR certification is required&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with others</li><li>Be willing to learn and grow as a Behavior Technician</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to travel to clinic&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to pass a state and FBI background check, state child abuse clearance and drug screen</li><li>Have knowledge of use of modern technology, i.e. PC, Mac, iPad or other tablets. Training will be provided on the systems used</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to stand and move for 100% of the day</li><li>Use of hearing, hands and eyes 100% of the workday&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally during the work day</li><li>Stamina and ability to work all assigned hours</li><li>Ability to move freely, quickly and frequently from a sitting (on the floor or in a chair) to standing position</li></ul></div></div>\n",
