Overview BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Analyst, Senior with 10+ years’ experience, for our expanding workforce to support development of program acquisition documentation, funding documents, mission requirements, and compliance, at Contractor and Government site(s) in Patuxent River, MD. and Norfolk, VA. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range. Responsibilities Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as: Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR) Procurement Initiation Document (PID) Performance Work Statement (PWS) Funding documents Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA) Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards Foreign military sales (FMS)/international products experience is a plus Qualifications 10+ years’ experience performing duties described in the functional descriptionhttps://brandesassociates.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppProfileEdit&action=switchEditTab&hashed=-327450308&type=next#! Allowable Substitution: Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree, or six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. CLEARANCE Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
