    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>DG Foods is currently looking for dependable and hard-working Poultry Portion Cutters for our Bastrop facility. Starting hourly wage is $16/hr. and offers attainable incentives where you can earn up to $32/hr. &nbsp;Experience is preferred but not required. DG Foods has a very aggressive compensation program based on performance. &nbsp;This is a full-time position with the opportunity to participate in our company benefit programs!</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><p>Job duties are as follows, but not limited to:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Cutting and portioning Poultry at a rate that is acceptable based upon production standards using a knife.</li><li>Must adhere to attendance and job performance standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>You must be COACHABLE because we want you to succeed!</li><li>Must be comfortable with working in a fast-paced manufacturing/production environment.</li><li>At least eighteen (18) years of age.</li><li>Must pass our multiday orientation class.</li><li>Must be legally eligible to work in accordance with federal and state law.</li><li>Must have dependable transportation to and from DG Food facilities, no exceptions.</li><li>Must be able to work various hours/holidays/weekends as required.</li><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time.</li><li>Must be comfortable with handling and using knives.</li><li>Must be able to always wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ability to work in a cold and wet environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work standing for extended periods of time.</li><li>Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 pounds.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>About DG Foods:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">DG Foods is the south&rsquo;s premier poultry custom processor and portioner with locations in Louisiana and Mississippi. &nbsp;We are committed to being a service-oriented supplier of high-quality poultry products within a workplace that is safe, healthy, and injury free.
