    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Housekeeping Department.</li>\n  <li>Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and hotel/departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that housekeeping team is informed as well.</li>\n  <li>Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Hire, train and develop team members and ensure all required training is complete according to standards.</li>\n  <li>Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations.</li>\n  <li>Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts.&nbsp; Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.</li>\n  <li>Ensure all end of month reports are completed to standard.</li>\n  <li>Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.</li>\n  <li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Manages all aspects of employee performance to ensure productivity and a quality work environment.</li>\n  <li>Maintains Housekeeping Department’s annual budget.</li>\n  <li>Performs housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson functions whenever necessary.</li>\n  <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Responsibilities</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n Maintains a high quality of services offered to guests through the management of the functional areas of the housekeeping department and maintain established standards and procedures of Shaner and/or franchise.&nbsp; Direct, implement and maintain a strong service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff.\n</div>\n<div>\n <b>Qualifications</b>\n</div>\n<div>\n <ul>\n  <li>Minimum 1-3 years of housekeeping management experience in the hospitality industry.</li>\n  <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.</li>\n  <li>Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, requirements, and use of equipment.</li>\n </ul>\n</div>",
