    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Select Medical Rehabilitation - Orlando Central</strong><strong>Position:</strong> PPS Coordinator/MDS (RN, PT, OT, SLP, PTA, COTA)<strong>Location:</strong> Housed inside of Select Specialty Hospital - Orlando Central<strong>Schedule: Full-time</strong>, M-F, 8am-5pm<strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>At our company, we support your career growth and personal well-being. </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Start Strong</strong>: Extensive and thorough orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into our setting</li>\n <li><strong>Recharge & Refresh</strong>: Generous PTO and Paid Sick Time for full-time team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance</li>\n <li><strong>Your Health Matters</strong>: Comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, employee assistance program (EAP), and dental plan offerings for full-time team members</li>\n <li><strong>Invest in Your Future:</strong> Company-matching 401(k) retirement plan, as well as life and disability protection for full-time team members</li>\n <li><strong>Your Impact Matters:</strong> Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates the data collection on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI)</li>\n <li>Ensures the presence of supporting documentation, and provides staff education to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.</li>\n <li>Coordinates all efforts for immediate issue resolution concerning Section GG scoring.</li>\n <li>Conducts ongoing review of IRF-PAI related data, and assists the PPS Manager with IRF-PAI completion.</li>\n <li>Participates in performance improvement initiatives and staff education to ensure that staff is provided the tools and support they need to accurately document scores and co-morbidities according to CMS standards and guidelines for completion of the IRF PAI.</li>\n <li>Assists the PPS Manager with PPS functions including but not limited to: IRF-PAI data collection, medical coding, IRF-PAI transmittals, and IRF-PAI correction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current state licensure in nursing (RN) or allied health profession (PT, OT, SLP) required</li>\n <li>Minimum of two years experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field required</li>\n <li>Previous experience required </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with ICD 10 coding preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with IRH-PPS preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with MDS/Oasis</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
