This person must be able to maintain strict confidentiality, possess strong attention to detail, and have a willingness to do non-routine tasks.</p>\n<p>Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the procurement and shipment of tools and PPE related to the mechanical trades to jobsites throughout the country.</li>\n<li>Perform RFx activities – request for information, request for pricing, request for quotes</li>\n<li>Establish a network of tool/PPE vendors to support project sites throughout the country.</li>\n<li>Mange the tool inventory database.</li>\n<li>Issue purchase orders and perform follow-up to ensure timely delivery.</li>\n<li>Work with stakeholders to develop processes to improve tool utilization and reduce waste.</li>\n<li>Collect and analyze data to draw conclusions about tool utilization, trends, and opportunities for improvement.</li>\n<li>Communicate with vendors including leading meetings with vendors when necessary.</li>\n<li>Assist other buyers as needed.</li>\n<li>Ensure positive employee relations and build the B&amp;K culture based on our values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tools / Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work on a team.</li>\n<li>Advanced Excel Skills – including pivot tables and Vlookup</li>\n<li>MS Office Suit (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge required.</li>\n<li>Experience with Vista by Viewpoint or other ERP software preferred</li>\n<li>Outstanding communication skills (phone, e-mail, video conference, and in person) required.</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform basic numerical, statistical, and financial analysis.</li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter and use initiative and judgment to balance workload and meet objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Prior work experience and education requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requires a HS diploma with a bachelor's degree preferred</li>\n<li>1+ year of procurement experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The physical demands are those associated with working in a typical office environment and miscellaneous field travel.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NOTE: </span>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
