This position is on-site and reports to our <strong>Brooklyn Park, MN </strong>branch.</p>\n<p>The Start Technician (Start Tech) is responsible for providing 5-star customer service to new customers, performing the first pest control application by applying chemicals and other manual solutions to eliminate pests. </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Interact with customers to explain service features and benefits, providing exceptional customer service. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow scheduled routes, communicate with office staff and managers, and maintain accurate, organized records. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety gear in good working condition, while utilizing technology to manage appointments and customer records. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ years of customer service experience, preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role.  Driving record must meet the company’s insurance standards.    </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided). </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Availability:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.</li>\n <li>Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.</li>\n <li>Sunday: Off </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Weekly Pay – get paid every Friday!</strong> </li>\n <li>This position offers an hourly base pay range of <strong>$18-20/hour</strong>, with additional compensation opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Physical Demands and Working Requirements </strong> </p>\n<p>The physical demands and working conditions outlined here are typical requirements for an employee to effectively carry out the essential duties of this job. </p>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be provided to assist individuals with disabilities in performing these essential functions. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl to access tight spaces like basements, attic and tight spaces </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Moderate noise level in the work environment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Potential exposure to pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The above statements are meant to outline the general nature and scope of work performed by employees in this role.
