The Opportunity: We are seeking an energetic individual for the role of Program Manager, EDU Aid and Funding . The primary role of the Program Manager, EDU Aid and Funding is to drive the digitization of education payments originating from major third-party funding and financial aid sources. You will cultivate a network of private, public, and government partners to support the growth and success of Flywire’s EDU funding partner network, accelerating market share and expanding into new funding categories. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, etc.) and requires a strong background in client management or program management. What You Will Do: Champions Client Success: Cultivate strong, high-impact relationships to passionately drive client satisfaction. Strategize and Collaborate: Think strategically, execute personal goals and responsibilities consistently, and work collaboratively across Flywire teams. Drive Operational Excellence: Proactively identify opportunities to improve partner experiences and Flywire operational outcomes, leveraging industry trends and data for maximum growth. Manage Complexity: Maintain a high level of organization to simultaneously manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Manage the existing portfolio of education funding, scholarship, 529, and financial services partners. Manages the pipeline of prospective education funding, scholarship, 529, and financial services partners Coordinate partner kickoffs, implementation timelines, status meetings, and ongoing business reviews. Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders (operational, technical, procurement, and executive teams). Track and manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items. Drive process optimization and automation by identifying manual workflows, analyzing operational pain points, and recommending improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability in partnership with internal teams (Operations, Product, Engineering). Support technical and operational workstreams (e.g., API integrations, SFTP setup, settlement files, bulk uploads, and payment workflows). Identify new opportunities for expanded functionality, improved partner adoption, and stronger operational performance. Serve as a trusted point of contact for partner support and escalations, leveraging data and feedback to drive value. Liaise with partners and coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales) to support new initiatives, campaigns, and regulatory compliance. Maintain detailed project documentation, meeting notes, trackers, and executive updates. Represent Flywire professionally at partner meetings, conferences, and industry events. Here's What We're Looking For: 5–8 years of combined experience in program management, relationship management, customer success, implementation management, operations, or strategic partnerships. Experience within Higher Education, Education technology, Accounts Payables, scholarship administration, 529 programs, or financial services is preferred. Proven experience building strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and planning skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
