This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The OSP Project Manager will coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution while maintaining strong communication and operational efficiency.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Expert in both fiber optic network maintenance and emergency restoration processes.</li><li>Expert level understanding of communications cabling types</li><li>Must have extensive experience in maintaining fiber-optic deployments of outside plant networks.</li><li>Deep familiarity with the materials, manufacturers, and equipment related to communications cabling products, fiber optic cable and OSP splice enclosures.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blue-prints, splice engineer packages, and network design drawings. Extrapolate requirements to create take off materials including quotes, scope of work (SOW), method of procedure, etc.</li><li>Strong ability to accurately estimate labor effort and material requirements.</li><li>Expert knowledge of fiber optic testing techniques and requirements.</li><li>Manage day-to-day operations of OSP construction projects including underground, and fiber optic installations.</li><li>Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate with customers, municipalities, utility companies, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.</li><li>Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements, company standards, and safety regulations.</li><li>Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and customers.</li><li>Review project scopes, work orders, permits, and construction documentation.</li><li>Manage subcontractor performance, production, quality, and compliance with project expectations.</li><li>Coordinate material procurement, equipment needs, and vendor support for project execution.</li><li>Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project-related documentation.</li><li>Ensure accurate tracking of production quantities, job costing, and project financials.</li><li>Conduct site visits and field audits to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.</li><li>Collaborate with Operations Manager and Construction Managers to resolve operational challenges.</li><li>Support damage prevention initiatives and ensure proper restoration and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain project timelines and deliverables.</li><li>Maintain accurate project records and reporting within company systems.</li><li>Participate in customer meetings and operational planning discussions.</li><li>Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.<br><br></li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum of 3&ndash;5 years of experience in telecommunications construction, OSP operations, or project management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong knowledge of fiber optic construction practices, underground OSP construction, and telecommunications infrastructure.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of permitting, utility coordination, and restoration processes preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.<br><br></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with OSP Construction and Right of Way (ROW) projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">OSHA safety knowledge and experience managing safe work environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working with subcontractors and vendor management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of customer billing, budgeting, and cost tracking processes.<br><br></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to travel to project sites as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions when conducting site visits.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.<br><br></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position operates in both office and field environments and may require travel to active construction sites.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Network Connex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.
