A private, nonprofit, non-tax supported medical center, UnityPoint Health - Grinnell is the largest hospital in Iowa between Des Moines and Iowa City and serves more than 47,000 residents in 6 counties.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Join a team of obstetrics providers: 1 OBGYN, a Family Medicine Physician trained to perform c-sections, and a Certified Nurse Midwife with full hospital support</li>\n <li>1:3 call </li>\n <li>New outpatient clinic attached to the hospital, daVinci Xi onsite, and one of the best ORs in the state </li>\n <li>Hospital is averaging over 200 deliveries a year with room to grow to 300 deliveries and over 200 procedures</li>\n <li>33 Bed hospital equipped with remote fetal monitoring, hospital and clinic-based ultrasound and more </li>\n <li>Average 3.5 days in clinic, 1 day in OR, this can vary depending on physician </li>\n <li>Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department, 50 employed providers and 350 employees at the Hospital </li>\n <li>Position is open to all candidates and new graduates</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MD or DO</li>\n <li>Board Eligible or Board Certified in FP with OB</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa</li>\n <li>Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice</li>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We Offer:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to earn bonus via a wRVU + Quality Metric </li>\n <li>One year income guarantee commensurate with experience </li>\n <li>Sign on Bonus.
