The Senior Healthcare Planner will take a leadership role with clients, user groups and healthcare staff in clients’ facilities, assessing their needs and possible solutions from a planning perspective.</span><span><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in client presentations and project meetings.</li>\n<li>Be familiar with current trends in healthcare delivery, the impact of new concepts of patient and staff flow as it relates to medical planning and the impact of newly emerging technology in medical equipment and medical communications in hospitals.</li>\n<li>Meet directly with client's, analyze their needs and conceive/develop architectural solutions commensurate with those needs.</li>\n<li>Initiate schematic designs/plans with responsibility for the preparation of presentation drawings, models and narratives.</li>\n<li>Provide for the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and medical planning and represent the firm by participating as a key member of the business development team in presentations to prospective clients.</li>\n<li>Provide guidance to other designers and work with the various disciplines throughout the schematic and design development phases to ensure that the solution accommodates the engineering needs and the owner’s program.</li>\n<li>Nurture the client relationship and develop new client contacts and business development within geographical region.</li>\n<li>Attend conferences, events, and other networking opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>What you will have:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in architecture or relevant field from an accredited program.</li>\n<li>15+ years' experience in healthcare architecture, planning and design experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Successful project management and staff supervision experience.</li>\n<li>Leadership and client relationship-management skills.</li>\n<li>Detailed oriented and have knowledge of industry and healthcare market sector trends and applicable codes and agency processes.<br></li>\n<li>Responsible for coordinating team members and consultants, programming projects, conducting site visits, and all necessary communications and documentation needed to ensure successful completion of projects. <br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Important Notes:</span></p>\n<p><em><span>Pay Comments: If you are hired at Taylor Design, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience, project complexity, and licensure and/or certifications.
