This involves maintaining and managing our PexOS platform. As a member of our team, you will be working alongside engineers based in both the UK and Norway and sharing responsibility for the continuous development and improvement of our platform. </span><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">This is not a remote role, although there is some flexibility to work from home when it is needed. </span><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">You must have the right to work in either the UK.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">The platform team is responsible for:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Security support for platform software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Providing secure VM and container images for other teams to use in products<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Extending compatibility for a growing range of cloud providers and hypervisors<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Extending OS functionality to meet new OS requirements<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\">Providing low-level engineering support for other teams</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(18, 19, 23); font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt\"><br>The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong desire to make a positive contribution to our core products, while upholding our shared commitment to maintaining high quality through good engineering practices.
