You will work alongside a number of dynamic individuals responsible for our success every single day. <strong>This is your opportunity to learn from them!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Internship has a Pay Scale based on the year in school. You must be a college student or high school graduate starting college in the fall.</p>\n<p>Wages include Base Hourly Rate of</p>\n<p>College/University Completed:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1st year: $19.00</p>\n<p>2nd year: $20.00</p>\n<p>3rd year: $21.00</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This is a Full-Time, </em><em>30 day, paid internship program beginning July 6, 2026 and ending August 7, 2026.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>In addition to providing a summer job opportunity, our goal is to foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities among our interns. Join us at Lexus of Stevens Creek, and embark on a journey of growth and learning!</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT TO EXPECT:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Interns will shadow, observe, and receive hands-on experience rotating between the following departments:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Service</li>\n <li>Sales</li>\n <li>Parts</li>\n <li>Finance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must adhere to assigned schedule designated by each department to include occasional weekends.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all assigned tasks while in each designated department.</li>\n <li>Uphold all company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Engage with guests leading with our Penske Way Principles</li>\n <li>Rotate through our divisions of responsibility and actively engage with team members as needed.</li>\n <li>Accepts designated, business-focus project to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>SCHEDULE:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Week 1: </p>\n<p>Introduction to the dealership: Customer service, service menu, contracts</p>\n<p>Sales:  Sales & Fixed Ops overview - Front of the house, Fixed ops overview, sales overview</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Week 2: </p>\n<p>Introduction to Finance/Administration</p>\n<p>Introduction to Parts - Warehouse management, parts catalog, online orders, internal customer service, basic AR accounting</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Week 3: </p>\n<p>Introduction to ASM role</p>\n<p>Introduction to the shop - Repair procedures, warranty repairs, production management, reconditioning center </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Week 4: </p>\n<p>Side Drive </p>\n<p>One day in the department of their interest </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Week 5:</p>\n<p>Work on Presentations </p>\n<p>Final Presentation on Friday, August 7, 2025</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To be considered for this opportunity, the individual interested in interning for us must have/be:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.</li>\n <li>Must be enrolled as an undergraduate college student or a recent high school graduate starting their first year of college.</li>\n <li>An applied student with a GPA of 3.0 or better</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format.</li>\n <li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task.</li>\n <li>Possess the ability to coordinate activities with other team members; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language and work well with the public.</li>\n <li>Available to complete all 4 weeks of program with minimal pre-determined absences.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
