This position requires a high degree of professionalism, diligence, and a commitment to quality care. Technicians will engage directly with patients, providers, and prescribers to facilitate prescription processing and ensure regulatory compliance. The technician must be comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving issues and maintaining high service standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h2>Prescription & Patient Support</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Accurately enter and process new and refill prescriptions in pharmacy management systems.</li>\n <li>Contact patients and prescribers to collect missing information.</li>\n <li>Respond to inbound calls and make outbound calls to support patient care and pharmacy services.</li>\n <li>Report drug adverse events to internal systems and client portals.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate discretion in handling protected health information (PHI) and maintain patient confidentiality.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Dispensing & Order Fulfillment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manually dispense oral medications, liquid medications, and medical supplies according to protocols.</li>\n <li>Verify prescription accuracy and completeness prior to fulfillment.</li>\n <li>Count, label, and pack medications and supplies for shipment within required time limits.</li>\n <li>Operate or assist with pharmacy automation systems and fulfillment technology.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Inventory & Equipment Management</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain and replenish dispensing units and inventory levels.</li>\n <li>Remove expired or recalled medications from circulation.</li>\n <li>Support receiving processes and monitor storage conditions to ensure regulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Replenish shipping and production supplies as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Systems & Documentation</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Navigate pharmacy systems to confirm, document, and reconcile orders.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and operational reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Team Collaboration</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work cross-functionally with pharmacists, technicians, hub personnel, and fulfillment teams.</li>\n <li>Participate in training, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Assist in onboarding and mentoring new technicians as appropriate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>The duties and responsibilities outlined above may vary depending on the position and business needs, and the Company reserves the right to modify or assign additional tasks as required.</em></strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Required Qualifications</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (required).</li>\n <li>Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Trainee License – Arizona Location (required).</li>\n <li>National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).</li>\n <li>1+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or specialty preferred).</li>\n <li>Must pass background check and drug screening prior to employment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work on-site 2–5 days per week, depending on operational needs and job responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Preferred Skills & Attributes</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy in data entry and order processing.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient in navigating Windows-based systems and pharmacy platforms.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</li>\n <li>Service-oriented mindset with professionalism and empathy.</li>\n <li>Adaptability to shifting priorities and new technologies.</li>\n <li>Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift/move packages and perform physical duties as needed.</li>\n <li>Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours.</li>\n <li>The ability to type 35 WPM with 97% accuracy is preferred for certain job responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Work Schedule & Location Notes</h1>\n<p>Standard hours of operation vary by location. Shifts are assigned based on business need and may rotate between morning, mid-day, and evening coverage as needed to fit operational needs.Technicians should be flexible to work extended hours or adjusted shifts during peak volume periods or when client expectations require additional support.
