We aim to ensure that aircraft are returned to service on schedule and the work is finished to the highest standard. AirX Jet Support supplies maintenance and related services to AirX Charter operator aircraft based out of Diamond Hangar at Stansted Airport.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Due to our continuous growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stores Controller to join Air X Charter base having its stores located in Stansted, UK, as part of AirX Jet Support premises. The Stores Controller will be reporting directly to the Head of AXC Stores, Stock &amp; Detailing.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Stores Controller is responsible to oversee activities including purchasing, shipping and transportation, inventory, warehousing, and delivery.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Main duties (What will you do):</span></p>\n<p><br>• Day to day running of Malta Stores at Stansted.<br>• Receiving and inspecting a wide range of aircraft parts in line with operational procedures.<br>• Ensuring correct material handling and storage conditions are maintained in line with regulation standards.<br>• Ensuring all dispatched items are routed via the appropriate carriers paying particular attention to the carriage of dangerous goods.<br>• Performing inventory control, paying particular attention to shelf-life items.<br>• Creating documentation and maintaining logs and archive files.<br>• Ensuring that the control and disposal of waste products are in line with company and environmental regulations.<br>• Keeping a clean and tidy working environment while optimising space utilisation.<br>• To constantly seek operational improvements to maximise productivity and minimise cost.<br>• Ensuring the best level of service is offered and maintained for both internal and external customers.<br>• Control core return processes.<br>• Driving of company vehicles.<br>• Flexible to work different shift patterns as determined by the Company.<br>• Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements (Who are we looking for):</span></p>\n<p><br>• Stores Inspection/Quality.<br>• Experience in logistics environment within the Aviation industry would be considered as an asset.<br>• Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.<br>• Previous experience with regards to Quality Inspection.<br>• Computer literate with experience in ERP software and Microsoft Office.<br>• Excellent written and oral communication skills.<br>• In possession of UK Driving License.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we offer:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary package.</li>\n<li>Generous annual leave entitlement.</li>\n<li>Company provided healthcare and pension scheme.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Training and professional development.</li>\n<li>A friendly and performance focused environment, where everyone’s perspective is heard, and every achievement valued.</li>\n</ul>",
