We are seeking a Senior Aviation Project Manager to join our Facilities Sector. The ideal candidate will serve as an experienced professional to serve as the liaison between Airport IT projects, Operations, and stakeholders, ensuring coordination and minimizing operational impacts through strong knowledge of LAX operations, airport technology systems, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration.The Senior Aviation Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between Airport IT projects, Airport Operations, and key stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment, clear communication, and coordinated execution across all parties. The ideal candidate brings in‑depth knowledge of operations at Los Angeles International Airport, along with a solid understanding of airport technology systems, infrastructure, and IT frameworks that support operational equipment. This position works closely with internal teams, airline partners, LAWA stakeholders, and contractors to support project coordination, identify operational impacts, and apply operational expertise to mitigate them. Success in this role requires proven experience in contractor management, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional coordination, as well as the ability to translate operational needs into technology‑driven solutions while maintaining a broad understanding of airport systems and their integration across multiple terminals.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary liaison between Airport IT project teams, Airport Operations, and key stakeholders</li>\n <li>Facilitate alignment and communication across internal teams, airline partners, LAWA stakeholders, and contractors</li>\n <li>Provide timely and accurate updates on project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies</li>\n <li>Support the coordination of IT project activities across multiple terminals to ensure consistency and awareness</li>\n <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential operational impacts and support mitigation efforts through operational expertise</li>\n <li>Coordinate and engage with contractors to support project execution, scheduling, and compliance with operational requirements</li>\n <li>Participate in project meetings, site walks, and operational briefings to maintain situational awareness</li>\n <li>Assist in tracking project progress, action items, and deliverables to support successful implementation</li>\n <li>Support the integration of airport equipment and systems with IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with operational needs</li>\n <li>Identify risks, gaps, and coordination challenges, and escalate as appropriate</li>\n <li>Foster strong working relationships across terminals and stakeholder groups to support efficient project delivery</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>15 years or more of experience, preferably on airport projects</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or other related technical field required</li>\n <li>Relevant professional licensure and/or certification are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li>\n <li>Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of airport operational IT systems, end-user hardware, and integrated airport infrastructure, including SITA systems, airport IT infrastructure, and tie-in integrations, PMWeb, Bluebeam, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with airport systems such as FIDS, AODB, BHS systems, kiosks, and gate/terminal operational equipment supporting day-to-day airport operations.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical audiences </li>\n <li>High level of organizational awareness and operational understanding </li>\n <li>Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities </li>\n <li>Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced airport environment </li>\n <li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset </li>\n <li>Proven experience in Airport Operations, preferably within a large hub environment such asLos Angeles International Airport </li>\n <li>Experience working in closely related fields such as airline operations, terminal management, and project management</li>\n <li>Exposure to or direct involvement in airport IT or infrastructure projects strongly preferred </li>\n <li>Experience working across multiple terminals and with diverse stakeholder groups </li>\n <li>Familiarity with LAX terminal projects and operational environment is a strong plus </li>\n <li>Experience supporting end-users and/or managing teams is highly desirable, with the ability to understand user needs and translate them into effective operational and technical solutions</li>\n <li>Experience with LAWA is preferred for interacting with our clients, City departments, contractors, and airlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary Range: $174,000 to $196,000/yearly</p>\n<p>Location: Los Angeles, CAWork Environment: Onsite</p>\n<h2>Our Company</h2>\n<p><strong>Cordoba Corporation, Making a Difference</strong></p>\n<p>Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering, construction management, program management, and planning firm.
