Our primary objective is to deliver flexible, scalable scheduling capabilities through self-service and automation, while consistently enforcing established best practices to reduce risk and accelerate enterprise-wide automation.</p>\n<p>The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration and operational support of Distributed Scheduling across Linux and cloud-based platforms. This role partners closely with infrastructure-as-code–driven automation initiatives to design, develop, and deliver new automation capabilities, as well as to enhance and evolve existing solutions.<br>\n  &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Your Primary Responsibilities:</strong><br>\n  &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with project managers for meeting all deadlines outlined within the project plan&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate and support Automation deployments</li>\n <li>Support the management of risks, issues, and dependencies across scheduling environments</li>\n <li>Follow all change management procedures</li>\n <li>Install, Upgrade or Patch Scheduling Products</li>\n <li>Collaborate with operations team on newly developed automation</li>\n <li>Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability</li>\n <li>Create and publish system documentation for enabling IT to use automated scheduling solutions</li>\n <li>Conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing (IDE Tools: AWS Q)</li>\n <li>Partner with experienced team members to develop new automation</li>\n <li>Support outages in the scheduling space</li>\n <li>Work with vendor for health check ups, cases, solutions, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:5.05pt\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of related experience</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Talents Needed for Success:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong Linux Administration (Minimum 4 years’ experience)</li>\n <li>Proficient Automation Skills (Minimum 4 years’ experience) \n  <ul>\n   <li>Shell scripting</li>\n   <li>Python scripting</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Independently install, upgrade, customize and integrate all components of Autosys</li>\n <li>Minimum 4 years’ experience in Distributed Scheduling (Autosys and Airflow)</li>\n <li>Containerized Platform Knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>\n <li>Software Configuration Management</li>\n <li>Version Control Knowledge (Bitbucket)</li>\n <li>Cloud Knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP, IAM, Ingress/Egress Policies)</li>\n <li>Automation Tool Knowledge (CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Chef)</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.5in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><i>The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
