The Electrical Technician installs, tests, and quality assures the 12V and 120V systems within projects, while evaluating and continuously improving Nomad electrical processes, while maintaining consistent use of existing ones.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions / Responsibility:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Splice wires and solder connections to fixtures and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Diagnose or repair problems with electrical equipment, such as lights, relays, battery isolators, generators sound, navigation, communication, security equipment, and leveling systems in motor vehicles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Run wires and cables for AC and DC systems, controls, and various electronic appliances.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills, air saws, and multi-tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Replace electrical or electronic components.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Build wooden enclosures and carpeted wall panels to custom fit vehicle dimensions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Cross-train in areas including, but not limited to, flooring installation, plumbing, door, and window installation, HVAC, cabinet and countertop making, welding, and I.T. integration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Perform additional duties as needed by Team Lead.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Basic Knowledge Desired:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Understand the significance of the Nomad Core Values apply them.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Have a readiness and understanding of electrical pull sheets and wiring diagrams, electrical concepts, processes, and theories of 120VAC and 12VDC.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> Knowledge of </span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair, and maintenance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> principles and methods for training, teaching and instructing individuals or a group, and the measurement of the training effects.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to use hands and arms to manipulate, handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and is occasionally required to sit. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Anything heavier than 50 pounds will require two people to lift / carry.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"> The employee must have the ability to work from heights at the ground floor up to 20 feet from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Specific vision abilities required by this job including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish individual colors.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Working Environment:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">The work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, temperatures can fluctuate between 60F and 100F but is typically around 70F. There are times when working outside will be required.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">The employee must have the ability to work from heights at the ground floor up to 20 feet from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">The employee may be subjected to noise levels, ranging from low volume to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time, which will be provided.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">There is some exposure to strong odors and fumes.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times in manufacturing areas.
