Our team is passionate about hospitality, safety, and creating memorable guest experiences from the moment passengers step aboard.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dish room and galley areas</li><li>Collect, rinse, and properly rack dishware, glassware, utensils, and cookware</li><li>Operate dish machines safely and according to procedure</li><li>Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and large equipment using a 3-compartment sink</li><li>Inspect all cleaned items for sanitation and proper storage readiness</li><li>Monitor and replace chemical containers; ensure proper chemical levels</li><li>Keep galley floors and workspaces clean through sweeping, mopping, trash removal</li><li>Assist with cleaning dry storage and other galley areas</li><li>Receive and store food and non-food supplies using FIFO practices</li><li>Follow all health department and maritime sanitation standards</li><li>Participate in safety drills; follow all vessel safety protocols</li><li>Communicate professionally and support overall vessel operations as needed</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience as a restaurant dishwasher required</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment&nbsp;</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills&nbsp;</li><li>Comfortable working aboard vessels in tight spaces and dynamic environments</li><li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions&nbsp;</li><li>Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed</li><li>Ability to work onboard for 2–5 hour cruises; occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Prolonged periods of standing and working in a &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;kitchen.</li><li>Must be able to lift, balance and carry products &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;weighing up to 25 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to work aboard a boat that is away from &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;dock for several hours at a time.</li><li>Exposure to extreme heat, steam and cold present in a &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;kitchen environment.</li><li>Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.</li><li>Must frequently immerse hands in water.</li><li>Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Health, dental, vision</li><li>401(k) with match</li><li>Subsidized parking</li><li>Complimentary cruises &amp; brand discounts</li></ul><p><strong>Ready to help Yacht StarShip create a sea of memories?
