Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to patients.<br>2. Answer patients&rsquo; questions within the scope of responsibilities.<br>3. Ensures and maintains an efficient flow of patients.<br>4. Enters, updates, and ensures accuracy of patient demographics<br>5. Interview patients for possible sliding-scale services eligibility.<br>6. Verify insurance coverage and eligibility dates in system and collect applicable payments.<br>8. Post charges to patients&rsquo; accounts.<br>9. Scan and imports demographic data and clinical documentation into patients&rsquo; charts.<br>&nbsp;10. Schedule appointments for patients as needed.</p><p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p><p>1. High School Diploma or equivalent<br>2. Preferred, 1 year of customer service experience<br>&nbsp;3. Preferred, 1 year of medical experience&nbsp;</p><p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p><ol><li>Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes</li><li>Computer literacy</li><li>Effective communication skills and ability to work well independently and in a team environment</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish / English) highly preferred</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</u></p><ol><li>Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration and to a variety of extreme outside weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to walk and to stand for long-periods of time</li><li>Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb all day.</li><li>Ability to lift or move items over 50 pounds.</li></ol>\n    </div>\n  </div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
