font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64)\">Role Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Track project deliverables and ensure that commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are utilised.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage commercial teams to drive successful delivery of all projects and lead the commercial planning and implementation of project.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Carry out an in-depth review of all tender documentation and identify any risk or potential gains</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Review and approve selected contractors /suppliers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure Contractual correspondence in accordance with contract terms inclusive of detailed analysis and documentation of EOT notifications and claims etc</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Continuously monitor the project to ensure that it stays on time and in budget</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist with and manage the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Reporting on actual costs v estimate and identifying underlying reasons for any variance and resolutions, highlight, challenge and resolve variance to latest plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure clients achieve their stated objectives through close teamwork, proactive cost control and the provision of contractual advice;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensures Subcontracts are properly prepared and managed to reflect agreed scope including compliance with all responses to communications, payments, compensation events, programme submissions etc.,</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure all project team members (including site staff) understand contractual arrangements to meet Client and partner requirements</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-size: 12pt\">Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying &amp; Construction Economics and or an equivalent degree recognised by the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland (SCSI) and/or by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">6+ year's of quantity surveying experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develops and maintains strong client relationships and leverage opportunities for repeat business</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">In-depth knowledge and understanding of the various forms of contract used in the construction industry RIAI FIDIC JCT etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrates commercial acumen – with advanced knowledge of the market and competition</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knows how to negotiate and deal with conflict and has the ability to critically evaluate documents</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(64, 64, 64);
