Come find out how our people power modern life.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p>Quanta Services, South Region is seeking a qualified Estimator with experience in foundation or heavy civil project estimating. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proven background in accurately developing estimates for complex construction projects. Our ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality work.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Review and summarize project requirements for bidding</li>\n <li>Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for deep pile foundation and heavy civil projects.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to understand project scope and logistics.</li>\n <li>Participate in project planning meetings and pre-bid conferences.</li>\n <li>Attend pre-bid job walk meetings and conduct site investigations.</li>\n <li>Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes.</li>\n <li>Develop quantity takeoffs and material pricing based on project scope.</li>\n <li>Develop resource-driven project schedules in alignment with client request.</li>\n <li>Develop detailed and advanced estimates geared towards the project requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintain cost databases and historical data for future references.</li>\n <li>Assist with project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.</li>\n <li>Communicate complex estimate details clearly and effectively.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>3-5 years of experience estimating deep pile foundations, heavy civil, or foundation-related construction projects.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.</li>\n <li>General knowledge and understanding of construction jobsite processes and procedures.</li>\n <li>Experience with construction management software (Procore or similar)</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft-related applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)</li>\n <li>Experience in scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or similar)</li>\n <li>Experience in estimating software (such as HCSS HeavyBid, or similar).</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and methodologies.</li>\n <li>Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with safety standards and construction regulations.</li>\n <li>Pass drug and alcohol screening (pre-employment & random.)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary</li>\n <li>401(k) with matching</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>Life insurance</li>\n <li>Paid time off</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-JG1</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
