We offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more for most full-time positions!</p>\n<p>Start your phenomenal career with Allied Universal today!</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal is seeking Security Shift Supervisor – Healthcare in North York, ON.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Title: Security </strong><strong>Shift Supervisor – Healthcare</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON (North York and surround area)<strong>Salary Range:</strong> $46,800 – $49,500 annually<strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-Time | Swing Rotation | Must be flexible to adjust schedule as operationally required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Allied Universal®, a global leader in Security Services, is seeking an experienced <strong>Security Shift Supervisor - Healthcare - </strong>to lead and oversee a team of security professionals within a <strong>highly regulated healthcare environment</strong> for the region of North York and surrounding area.</p>\n<p>This role is responsible for the <strong>shift’s operational performance</strong> of a complex healthcare security program, including personnel leadership, compliance management, and client engagement. The successful candidate will bring proven experience overseeing a security team in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environments, with the ability to uphold strict compliance standards while delivering exceptional service.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations, site-specific protocols, and Allied Universal policies and standards</li>\n <li>Investigate incidents and ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting</li>\n <li>Coaching and mentoring team members</li>\n <li>Provide leadership during emergency situations and after-hours operational issues as required</li>\n <li>Provide shift deployment assignments</li>\n <li>Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Healthcare / Regulated Site Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>Due to the regulated nature of the healthcare environment, <strong>proof of vaccination</strong> is required for client access, including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diphtheria</li>\n <li>Pertussis</li>\n <li>Tetanus</li>\n <li>Influenza</li>\n <li>Covid (two vaccinations)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional vaccinations may be required in the future in accordance with client requirements or public health guidelines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>2–4 years of supervisory experience</strong> leading security or operational teams within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments</li>\n <li>Valid <strong>Ontario Security Guard License</strong></li>\n <li>Valid <strong>Ontario G-Class Driver’s License</strong> with a clean driving record</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED required (post-secondary education preferred)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills</li>\n <li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and incident reporting platforms</li>\n <li>Standard First Aid (or willingness to obtain; reimbursement provided)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pre-Employment Screening</strong></p>\n<p>Successful candidates must successfully complete:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Criminal background check (7 years) – Vulnerability Check</li>\n <li>Education verification</li>\n <li>Employment verification (past 7 years or last 3 employers)</li>\n <li>Professional reference checks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Stable, full-time leadership position</li>\n <li>Competitive salary and comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid training and professional development opportunities</li>\n <li>Long-term career growth within Allied Universal’s Healthcare and Regulated Security Services division</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p>\n<p>As part of the hiring process, candidates must complete a background check.
