Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that offers both paid training and room to grow?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If yes, then apply today for the position of Production Support Technician at Electric Boat where we will assist in building the most advanced and sophisticated submarines in the world!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What We Offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>401K plan with up to 6% employer match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li>\n <li>Shift Premium</li>\n <li>Health and Wellness Programs</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Programs</li>\n <li>Safety Boot Reimbursement Program</li>\n <li>Growth Opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role of the Production Support Technician (ECC) is to provide support to the production group by setting up, troubleshooting, breakdown, repairing/maintaining preheat and temporary utility equipment including items such as strip heaters, temporary distribution panels, heater timer boxes, power supplies (weld machines), stud guns, ventilation blowers and hoses as well as lighting, electrical cords and cables.ECC supports the productions trades by establishing critical needs for welders and other trades to work in their perspective areas across the facility</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Production Support Technicians are also responsible for monitoring heat and recording and maintaining those readings in a log book</li>\n <li>Qualified candidates must be mechanically inclined and have a working knowledge of electricity and of working safely with it</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma/GED, OR, a minimum of 2 years related technical experience</li>\n <li>1+ year of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Must be available to work all shifts</li>\n <li>Candidates must possess basic mechanical knowledge to be able to effectively support mechanical repairs when the need should arise</li>\n <li>Candidates must be willing to work overtime as needed</li>\n <li>Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years with Electrical and Mechanical diagnostic and repair experience</li>\n <li>Preference given for Vocational, Technical and Community Colleges or Apprentice Programs</li>\n <li>Familiarity with ATICTS, MRP II, SPARS, AT&A Timekeeping is desired</li>\n <li>Journeyman electrical, pipefitting or plumbing experience</li>\n <li>Military/ Navy experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Applicant will be required to work in a collaborative team environment and organizational goals</li>\n <li>Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and with minimal supervision</li>\n <li>Candidates must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and in extreme temperature conditions as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside, Wet",
