This safety-sensitive role is essential to vessel operations, guest safety, and maintaining the polished presentation and service standards aboard our dining cruise vessels.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises delivers unforgettable experiences on the water through premier dining cruises, private events, weddings, corporate functions, and specialty entertainment cruises throughout Tampa Bay. Our team is passionate about hospitality, safety, and creating memorable guest experiences from the moment passengers step aboard.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and vessel operations</li><li>Ensure guest safety during boarding, cruising, and disembarking</li><li>Maintain vessel cleanliness including decks, restrooms, seating areas, and exterior spaces</li><li>Assist with fueling, potable water intake, and waste removal</li><li>Participate in required safety drills and emergency response procedures</li><li>Deliver friendly, professional guest interactions while maintaining safety standards</li><li>Assist with routine vessel maintenance including washing, detailing, painting, and upkeep</li><li>Support event and cruise operations as needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences</li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul><li>Must be 18+ with a valid state-issued ID</li><li>Ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 3 minutes</li><li>Physically able to lift, carry, and assist guests in emergency situations</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions</li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Ability to pass pre-employment and random USCG drug and alcohol testing</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Pay</li><li>Health and Ancillary Benefits</li><li>401(k) with Employer Match</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Subsidized Parking</li><li>Complimentary Cruises &amp; Employee Discounts</li></ul><p>This role is also a great entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable sea time, hands-on vessel operations experience, and exposure to the maritime industry.
