This role focuses on executing strategies to manage obsolete or slow-moving inventory with the Senior Planner and Merchandise Planning teams to identify opportunities that maximize inventory turnover, profitability, and warehouse space optimization.</p>\n<h2>Role Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Fulfillment Optimization:</strong> Diagnose and resolve bottlenecks in fulfillment centers that affect inventory movement, ensuring efficient flow to sell-off or high-demand locations.</li>\n <li><strong>Network Visibility:</strong> Maintain transparent reporting tools to track inventory flow, shrinkage, and the sell-off process across the entire network.</li>\n <li><strong>Cross-Functional Distribution:</strong> Partner with Logistics and Merchandise Planning to support network-wide initiatives and optimize inventory distribution across various locations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Inventory Identification:</strong> Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory, contributing to decisions that minimize overstock.</li>\n <li><strong>Strategy Execution:</strong> Assist in implementing scalable sell-off solutions to effectively manage inventory risk and enhance the customer experience.</li>\n <li><strong>Operational Support:</strong> Oversee the returns, inbound, inspection, and outbound processes related to sell-off to ensure adherence to SLAs.</li>\n <li><strong>Data Analysis:</strong> Analyze inventory data to forecast demand for sell-offs and aid in maintaining optimal stock levels.</li>\n <li><strong>Compliance:</strong> Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy in inventory processing and compliance with performance standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Role Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Background in inventory management, preferably within a specialty retailer or start-up environment.</li>\n <li><strong>Analytical Skills:</strong> Strong analytical capabilities with a basic understanding of demand planning and identifying inventory obsolescence.</li>\n <li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with a focus on process improvement.</li>\n <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.</li>\n <li><strong>Work Style:</strong> Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The Perks</h2>\n<p>URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
