You'll build the infrastructure and pipelines that allow a small team to deliver like a large organization while maintaining security in contested environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>US Citizens Only</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Former US Defense Contractor / US Gov / US Military Experience Only  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a Hybrid Position - Remote mainly - but as well on call to come into a MAG office when requested.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking candidates who live in proximity to our corporate HQ in Fairfax, VA primarily but will entertain persons living near our satellite offices in:Aberdeen, MD - Titusville, FL - Newport News, VA - Carthage NC</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<h4><strong>Duties include, but not limited to:</strong></h4>\n<h4><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multi-architecture deployments</li>\n <li>Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for hybrid cloud/edge environments</li>\n <li>Implement container orchestration for resource-constrained platforms</li>\n <li>Create automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, security, performance)</li>\n <li>Build observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing, profiling)</li>\n <li>Develop GitOps workflows for configuration management</li>\n <li>Optimize build processes for embedded and edge platforms</li>\n</ul>\n<h4><strong>Secondary Responsibilities</strong></h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Implement security scanning in CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)</li>\n <li>Automate compliance validation (STIG, RMF controls)</li>\n <li>Design and implement secrets management solutions</li>\n <li>Create security monitoring and incident response automation</li>\n <li>Support security documentation and authorization packages</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Primary Experience / Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5+ years DevOps/DevSecOps experience</li>\n <li>Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins)</li>\n <li>Experience with artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus, Azure Artifacts, to include Azure Container Registry) for managing diverse package types</li>\n <li>Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)</li>\n <li>Extensive experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes)</li>\n <li>Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)</li>\n <li>Experience with cloud platforms (Azure required, AWS/GCP beneficial)</li>\n <li>Understanding of security scanning tools and practices</li>\n <li>Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Git workflows and version control best practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with embedded system CI/CD and cross-compilation</li>\n <li>Knowledge of military software development processes</li>\n <li>Familiarity with RMF and security authorization processes</li>\n <li>Experience with air-gapped and classified environments</li>\n <li>Understanding of supply chain security and SBOM</li>\n <li>Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS)</li>\n <li>Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testingFamiliarity with Policy-as-Code (PaC) tools like Open Policy Agent (OPA) for automating governance and security checks</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or related field; </li>\n <li>Master's preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be eligible for Secret security clearance</li>\n <li>Must be a US citizen</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Note</h2>\n<p><strong>What Makes You Successful Here</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>You automate everything that can be automated</li>\n <li>You treat infrastructure as code, not clickops</li>\n <li>You build security into pipelines, not bolt it on after</li>\n <li>You can work across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments</li>\n <li>You measure success by how little manual work the team does</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why Join MAG:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work on meaningful problems that directly impact national security</li>\n <li>Small, elite team where your contributions matter immediately</li>\n <li>Access to cutting-edge hardware and technologies</li>\n <li>Rapid prototyping environment - see your ideas deployed in weeks</li>\n <li>Direct interaction with end users and field deployments</li>\n <li>Professional development and conference attendance support</li>\n <li>Flexible work arrangements with occasional field exercises</li>\n <li>Opportunity to shape the future of tactical edge computing</li>\n</ul>",
